I have been infected with the Quilt virus in 1987 when I was an AuPair in the United States and I have been quilting ever since... I want to share pictures and thoughts about this beautiful hobby and invite your comments and criticism...
Sew many quilts, sew little time!

I am working on yet another block, the peahen (#14 of the Civil War Bride Quilt, my #8 block). All together now look as follows:
I will have to prepare two or three blocks for our Quiltsterne internet quilt guild meeting in two and a half weeks. It is our tenth anniversary and I am really looking forward to a three day retreat near Stuttgart/Tübingen with my nice quilter friends from all over Germany. I will appliqué the whole weekend and not have to worry about meals or anything, yippie!
Since I am in such a leaf appliqué-mode, I couldn't stop myself and appliquéd several on a rather plain linen dress I want to wear for a wedding in two weeks...
What do you think: should I add more? Embroider flowers?
